Merit Badges

Merit Badges are awards earned in scouting for advancement. Some are required for Eagle Scout and must be earned in order to earn the rank, such as Camping and First Aid, and most aren’t required, and can be earned by meeting with a counselor to start working on the merit badge, and once you finish it, it is awarded at a Court of Honor.
